Jane Finch Mall is an enclosed, community mall, 242,000 square feet anchored by a 43,000 square foot FreshCo grocery store, a full-sized Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Accents, and Fit4Less.  Recent openings include  F.A.B. Boutique, with Skyroute Travel and Passion Plus Juice opening in spring 2022.  Other large sized users 25,000 square feet to 55,500 square feet could be accommodated. The shopping centre performs at $413 per square foot (2019). Suitable uses include: branded athletic shoes and athletic apparel, gaming software store, florist, law office, and children’s shoes.

Only a few retail store vacancies are currently available in the Jane Finch Mall right now, but the landlord may not be renewing some existing retailers in 2022, so there could be some retail space coming available for lease. Units inside the mall that can be made available:  436 square feet (close to an entrance), 769 square feet near centre court, and about 2,400 square feet.

Jane Finch Mall is located at one of Toronto’s busiest intersections, with exposure to 73,000 cars daily, with over 700 buses a day serving the site.  Offering a great shopping environment complemented by a wide-ranging merchandise mix of approximately 80 retail stores, some of which have been at the centre for over forty (or more!) years. The shopping centre is easily accessible by public transportation.  There are three major bus routes with five bus stops within immediate walking distance of the mall bringing over 700 busses daily to the site.  The new light rail transit (LRT) is currently under construction along Finch Avenue West and will bring even more connectivity to the site.

The centre is located in the heart of a very densely populated and multicultural area of the city and is easily accessible by foot, public transit, and car. There are 1,150 parking spaces on the site.

Given the daytime working population of more than 77,400, the proximity of York University, and the dense residential population of 75,000 people within one kilometre, the Jane Finch Mall shopping centre has been a retail hub for this community for over fifty years. It was last redeveloped in 2017-2018 when Dollarama, Fit4Less, and five CRU retailers were added in repurposed retail space.
